About this book

Arizona Ghost Trails is credited to Richard J. Hinton. A heading from the Handbook To Arizona lists a summary of mining laws, desert and timber lands, and homestead and pre-emption rights, among others. The text says the word deposit has always been construed by the Land Office to be a general term, embracing veins, lodes, ledges, placers, and all other forms in which the valuable metals have ever been discovered.

A section headed Miners' Form of Notice has a claim of 1,500 feet in and along the vein. A road from Camp McDowell to Camp Reno is described with camping grounds including Camp Miller, 16 miles, and Camp Carroll, 4½ miles. A list of businesses under Prescott, Yavapai Co. names general merchants, attorneys at law and a brewery, among others.
