Cyclopedia of Commerce, Accountancy, Business Administration, Volume 3, credited to American School of Correspondence, is a general reference work on subjects including accounting, auditing, bookkeeping and commercial law, among others. The title page says the work was prepared by a corps of auditors, accountants, attorneys, and specialists in business methods and management, is illustrated with over two thousand engravings, and runs to ten volumes.

The text says that where fraud or duress is used in obtaining a party's consent to a contract, the contract is at least voidable. The text says consideration may be good or valuable, and that good consideration consists of love and affection existing between near relations. Under the heading Reinsurance, the text says one insurance company may insure its own liability upon policies issued, by entering into separate contracts covering the same risks with other insurance companies. A will in the text devises to a daughter, Anna Brown, a farm known as the "North Place" during her life, and at her death to her lawful issue.
