About this book
Has Anyone Here Seen Kelly? is by Bryce Walton. The Crew pulses with contentment, and its communal singing brings a pleasant kind of glow that throbs gently in the control room. Kelly insists that he is going on out for a while, and the Crew says Better not.
Kelly objects that no one has checked the ship for over a year, and the Crew asks him not to worry about the ship, saying that in fifty years nothing has gone wrong. Kelly believes that any body, no matter what its shape, should be proud of itself. Kelly stares at a rock that holds a dull glow and a faint hint of warmth, and the reply is that perhaps there is life everywhere in the most impossible seeming places.
