About this book
Just Folks, by Edgar A. Guest, is affectionately dedicated to the Little Mother and the memory of the Big Father. Reward asks for neither medals nor a hoard of gold, but a share of joy and occasional time away from work to fish beside a stream. See It Through urges someone facing trouble to meet it squarely, do the best possible when escape is vain, and keep fighting even in failure.
My Books and I calls the speaker's books good old pals, with laughing books suited to merry moods and Bill Nye coming down to share jokes and laughter. The Roads of Happiness places lovers and couples along its roads, with children playing in pleasant weather and kindly people stopping to talk.
