About this book
Mrs. Korner Sins Her Mercies is a story by Jerome K. Jerome. Mrs. Korner declares that she likes a man to be a man. The domestic staff at Acacia Villa, Ravenscourt Park, is said to live in a state of indignation.
Mrs. Korner, a married woman of six months and three weeks standing, had heard her husband murmur the motto Greet the day with a smile and it will leave you with a blessing on two hundred and two occasions. Mr. Korner indignantly demands where his supper is, still supported by the knocker. Mr. Korner says that almost from the day of their marriage it has been made clear that he is regarded as a milksop.
