About this book
Sam has sold life insurance to every race in the galaxy, but discovers people on Halcyon who neither want nor need the protection. A letter signed Sammy Trumple asks for his own life insurance to be doubled and the premiums taken from his salary. The letter writer describes deciding to try to sell General Multacni a life insurance policy.
The account describes General Multacni as probably nine feet tall and courteous at first, listening politely while periodically directing a bombing raid by radio. A reply questions how someone killed by a guard could sit down and write a letter, and asks what really happened.
