Prior Analytics

Aristotle’s “Prior Analytics” is a significant work in the field of logic, particularly in the development of deductive reasoning. Written in 350 B.C.E., it is divided into two books and is considered the first organized study of syllogism, which is a form of logical argument that applies deductive reasoning to arrive at a conclusion based on two or more offers that are asserted or assumed to be true.
