About this book
Separation and Service, or Thoughts on Numbers VI, VII, is by James Hudson Taylor. The contents list, among others, gives Part I, Separation to God, on Numbers vi, 1-21, and Part II, The Blessing of God, on Numbers vi, 22-27. The text says we shall find that Separation to God is followed by Blessing from God, and that those who receive large blessing from Him, in turn render to Him acceptable Service. The first twenty-one verses of Numb. vi. give an account of the institution and ordinances of the order of Nazarites.
The text says that God has so ordered it that the face shall reveal the character and feelings of the individual. The text says twelve times is all this detail repeated, a most emphatic evidence that God never wearies in noting the service of each one of His people.
