About this book
Studies in Forensic Psychiatry, by Bernard Glueck, M.D., is Criminal Science Monograph No. 2, issued as a supplement to a journal of criminal law and criminology. The text says that Raecke’s stupor, like Ganser’s twilight syndrome, frequently develops in criminals immediately after arrest or after great physical or psychic exertion.
The text says the litigant constantly busies himself with his grievances, loses all interest in everything else, and begins to fight for his rights. A section headed Sexuality and Criminality says that a method of psychological analysis has, aside from its originally restricted field, already thrown so much light upon various cultural aspects of life, such as art, poetry, religion, folklore, and mythology.
