About this book
The Child’s Day is by Woods Hutchinson, A.M., M.D. The foreword reports some asking what is the use of putting ideas about disease into children’s heads, and says the period for richest returns from sensible living is childhood. The text tells the reader that it is a bad thing to sleep with your head under the bedclothes, as people sometimes do.
The text recommends some good swinging and windmill movements with your arms and shoulders and back. The text speaks of the big central office of our Body Telephone, in what we call our memory. The text asks, Do you know where the water you drink at school comes from? and adds, If you don’t, try to find out.
