The New Ideal in Education is a text by Nikolaj Velimirović. The work is presented as an address given before the League of the Empire on July 16th, 1916. The address asks why Christ does not ask the kings to come to Him and answers that they are too much engaged in a wrong state of things.
The address says that if anything is to be learned from this war, it is doubtless that the education of youth in all the countries of the world must become an international affair of the very first importance. The text calls Voluntary Obedience the education of tomorrow. The text describes an experiment with Individualism as a personality put as the centre and aim of education.
