About this book

The Power Paradox is a detailed book by Dacher Keltner that redefines our understanding of power. The book showcases the enigma of power, an emotion that is triggered when we are confronted with vast mysteries that surpass our comprehension of the world.

About the author

Dacher Keltner

Keltner runs the Greater Good Science Center at Berkeley and studies emotions psychology had largely ignored: awe, compassion, embarrassment, the human uses of touch. Pixar hired him to advise on Inside Out, and the film's decision to give sadness a job came partly out of his research.
