One recipe for small cakes without eggs says to drop the mixture in spoonfuls on a cold baking tray, sprinkle a little sugar over, and bake in hot oven for about ten minutes. The cooking hints say never to slam the oven door when cooking, as it spoils cakes, pastry, and puddings. The recipe headed Vegetarian Roast lists bread, peanuts, milk, seasoning and an onion.
