About this book
The Wonder Island Boys: Exploring the Island, credited to Roger T. Finlay, includes a line about a large leopard-like animal that sprang transversely across their path before they had gone 20 feet. The contents entry headed Chapter I, The Fourth Voyage of Discovery, lists among others the journey into the forest, the restlessness of the yaks, wild animals, George Mayfield and Harry Crandall, and their companion, an aged Professor.
A contents entry lists among others the ceremony of raising the flag, trying to sing the Star-Spangled Banner, and taking possession of the island in the name of the United States. One passage says that voltage means the pressure and that amperage refers to the amount of current which is passing. A list of definitions gives charcoal as wood from which the lighter or more volatile gases have been abstracted by heat.
