About this book
Kant is the target of the long appendix that opens the second volume of Schopenhauer's main work, in the Haldane and Kemp translation. The supplements that follow expand the first book, on perception and abstract thought, taking up idealism, the senses, logic, rhetoric, the theory of the ludicrous and man's need of metaphysics, and then part of the second book, on the will in the animal body. The sixth edition appeared in 1909.
