About this book

Weaved by Warner is by W. C. Tuttle. The narrator, Chuck Warner, says it has been said that he is the worst liar in Yaller Rock County, but that this is a lie, because he is the best.

The narrator says that Muley is too fat to be anything but a nuisance, but can write poems. The narrator says that Telescope hails from the land of cawn-juice and fights most of his feuds in his sleep. Jay Bird comes to the narrator and says that he is going to be gone a couple of days. Chuck whoops with laughter and tells Muley that someone made a mistake and thought Muley was Telescope. The narrator says that he walked about six miles, reached the door of the bunk-house, and fell in across the doorstep to join company with Magpie, Mighty, Jay Bird, Ike and Muley.
