Abby Wambach

Wambach scored more international goals than any footballer, man or woman, when she retired in 2015, and won two Olympic golds and a World Cup. Wolfpack grew out of a graduation speech about what women are trained to be grateful for. She has been open about the painkillers and alcohol she was using through the end of her career and about her drink-driving arrest in 2016, which she has said was the thing that stopped her. She campaigned publicly on equal pay for the American team, and is married to the writer Glennon Doyle.
