Author: Anna Fuller
Anna Fuller (1853-1916) was an American novelist and short story writer, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and educated at Abbot Academy in Andover. Her print debut came in the New York Evening Post when she was twenty-one, though no book followed until she was thirty-eight: Pratt Portraits (1892), a set of character studies that had first run in Harper's Bazaar. Colorado supplied the material for A Literary Courtship Under the Auspices of Pike's Peak (1893) and Peak and Prairie (1894), both marked by the strong female protagonists her fiction is known for. Later books included A Venetian June (1896), A Bookful of Girls (1905), and The Thunderland Lady (1913); she died in Boston in 1916.
