📚 1 Book ✍️ European History 📄 PDF & EPUB

Dermot Turing is a British writer on cryptographic history and the nephew of Alan Turing. His historical study X,Y&Z reconstructs the international effort behind the breaking of Enigma, giving particular weight to Polish mathematicians Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Różycki, and Henryk Zygalski and to cooperation among Polish, French, and British intelligence services. The History Press issued the book in 2018 under the fuller title X, Y & Z: The Real Story of How Enigma Was Broken. Turing drew on recently declassified records to trace the work from early Polish breakthroughs to their decisive contribution at Bletchley Park. He has also served as a trustee of the Turing Trust and as a visiting fellow at Kellogg College, Oxford.
