Huw Richards
Grow Food for Free is what the title says: a vegetable growing method assembled out of pallets, cardboard, kitchen scraps and manure nobody wanted, worked out on a Welsh smallholding and filmed for a very large gardening audience online. Richards started the channel at twelve. The book covers composting from council green waste, propagating from supermarket vegetables, and building raised beds out of scavenged timber. The argument underneath is that equipment cost is what stops most people growing anything at all, and that nearly all of it can be avoided.
