Born in Croatia, she later became known to a wide audience after winning Oprah Winfrey's 2011 reality competition and through widely shared videos about family life. Hold On, But Don’t Hold Still turns that direct voice toward memoir, combining personal experience with practical encouragement about self-acceptance, resilience, and raising children without chasing impossible standards. Penguin Random House released the memoir in 2020. Kuzmic has since continued the same conversation through speaking appearances and her Hope and Humor platform, using comedy to make difficult everyday emotions easier for families to discuss.
