Louis Theroux

Louis Theroux is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker whose work is built around extended encounters with people and institutions. Gotta Get Theroux This is his memoir of growing up, entering journalism, and developing a television career. Pan Macmillan released the memoir in 2019. Its narrative begins with his 1994 assignment on Michael Moore's TV Nation before following his move to BBC documentaries. The memoir also turns his observational method inward, considering family life and the personal consequences of revisiting difficult subjects. Its full edition title identifies the focus plainly: his life and strange times in television, told by the interviewer who was usually asking the questions.
