About this book

Connie Morgan in the Lumber Camps is by James B. Hendryx. The contents list chapters titled, among others, Connie Tames a Bear-cat and The Unmasking of Slue Foot Magee. The boy Connie Morgan tells Waseche Bill that the first thing to do on his trip to the outside will be to hunt up Mike Gillum and have a talk with him.

The boy Connie Morgan answers Saginaw that he knew he could travel faster and make less noise than a big gang, and that he knew he could handle the job when he got there. Slue Foot springs straight at Connie, Hurley meets him half way, and when Slue Foot regains his feet two steel bracelets coupled with a chain encircle his wrists.
