About this book
Dick, Marjorie and Fidge, subtitled A Search for the Wonderful Dodo, is a book by G. E. Farrow. G. E. Farrow is named as author of Adventures in Wallypug Land. A note to dear little friends says here is another book and hopes it will be as fortunate in pleasing them as the others seem to have been.
As the Dodo floats away on his chair, Dick asks whom he means and is told the little Panjandrum, whom he is pretty sure to meet sooner or later. A crowd of the funniest little people imaginable comes to the edge of a cave and peers over at the children. Marjorie declares she believes they are Brownies, or else Gnomes, but Dick says there are no such things now-a-days. The Executioner says he simply said he was duff and dem and defies anyone to prove the contrary, and Marjorie is quite bewildered.
