About this book
Memorials of the Faithful is a book by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The text says the believers, among them Ismu’lláh, went eighteen days without food and lived on the leather of their shoes. The text says the believers, left with nothing but water, drank a mouthful every morning and lay famished and exhausted in their Fort. The text says Ismu’lláh did not slacken under fire and, once freed, taught more widely than ever.
The text says Ismu’lláh’s tomb is in Hamadán. The text says the Ḥájí set up in business as a jeweler and lived with pomp and splendor, like a great prince. The text says two horsemen got to the Fort of Tabarsí, where both of them won a martyr’s death.
