About this book
Paris Talks is a book by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The text says that God is the great compassionate Physician who alone has the power to give true healing. The text gives Aristotle as an example of a man who made a special study of the digestion and died of a gastronomic malady. The text points out that the elephant, the largest of all animals, is troubled by the fly, and the lion cannot escape the irritation of the worm.
An address at the Friends’ Meeting House, St Martin’s Lane, London, is headed Sunday, January 12th, 1913. The address says that about one thousand years ago a society called the Society of the Friends was formed in Persia, whose members gathered together for silent communion with the Almighty.
