An item headed An Improved Boracic Acid-Glycerine Compound names William S. Fickett of Rochester, N. Y., as the inventor of an improved process of combining boracic acid with glycerine for preservative purposes. Elixir Cascara Sagrada Compound is listed with fluid extract cascara 4 ounces and glycerine 2 ounces among its ingredients, and a dose of one teaspoonful before eating.
