About this book
The Beginning by Henry Hasse carries a line describing a narrative as old as time that drives forward relentlessly to a climax as old as man. The text says there was no particular point-of-sequence at which Gral could have been said to Know, and describes his existence as a succession of brute obedience to brute awareness. The Place is a small rocky cleft above the river, not easily accessible, which Gral found one day because he dearly loved to climb.
Otah says "I slew Obe with this!", and Gor-wah pronounces the weapon "A weapon of great magic." Mai-ak and his remnants are said to have only one recourse now. Once again the weapons fall within the hour, and the text calls it swift, thorough, methodical, merciless and complete.
