About this book
The Illustrious Prince is a book by E. Phillips Oppenheim. The contents list, among others, names chapters called "MR. HAMILTON FYNES, URGENT" and "MISS PENELOPE MORSE". A station-master is told by a man that "There’s something wrong with my passenger, sir," and that "I can’t make him answer me."
The station-master has not the slightest doubt that the man seated at the table was dead. On a boat pitching heavily in the Channel, Mr. James B. Coulson "was sleeping like one who wakes only for the Judgment Day." A character called the Prince laughs softly and says that "Today, in warfare, nothing is impossible."
