About this book
The Link by Alan Edward Nourse has Ravdin ease a ship down toward the Earth's surface when it is nearly sundown. Ravdin peers north of the city, hoping to catch a glimpse of the concert, while Jungle-land spreads out to the horizon below him. The station is completely empty when Ravdin walks down the ramp to the shuttles.
Lord Nehmon dispatches the last of his belongings in the rounded room of his house, a few remembrances and nothing more. Nehmon has supervised the loading all day, following plans laid down millennia before. Libraries and records are transported, mile upon endless mile of microfilm, carted to the ships prepared to carry them. A passage names Frankle, whose vicious eyes burn in frustration.
