About this book
The Shepherd Of My Soul is by Charles J. Callan, and its contents list names a Psalm of the Good Shepherd. The contents list names, among others, chapters titled Christ the Good Shepherd, Shepherd Life in the Orient and Thy Rod and Thy Staff They Comfort Me. The text says the Saviour is the Good Shepherd who enters the sheepfold by the door, and not as the thief and robber who climb up some other way.
The text says that He protects and guards His sheep, and that by day and by night He is ever near them. The text says that in a certain sense it is likely true that those suffer most in life who are most united to God. The text names death and sickness and disease, poverty and misery, distress and worry, labor and sorrow.
