About this book
The Woodcraft Girls in the City is a book by Lillian Elizabeth Roy. A character named Mrs. Remington says she thinks the plan of educational entertainment fine, and that with permission of Wako Tribe she will try the idea with her own girls. A reading in the text says the Bureau of Fisheries report over $6,000,000 worth of fish brought into New England ports during the year of 1916.
The text says the girls spent July and August in happy Woodcraft ways, and that the cheerfulness and health of the Tribe proved how contented and enjoyable had been the weeks at Woodchuck Camp. A story told in the text has Saroki take the flute and play for three days and three nights without stopping.
