«N'esta proposeram os vereadores Francisco Thomé Marques Gomes e Bento José Mendes Guimarães, se lhes tomassem a declaração que os seus votos foram, o pagar-se a despeza que se fez com a função do juramento da Constituição no dia tres de Novembro, pelos membros deste senado visto que o dito não podia suprir a estas despesas não só pelo alcance em que se acha, mas tambem por se não gastar o rendimento deste Senado se não em utilidade publica, por isso confirmavão o seu voto, e diziam que repartida a mesma despeza, queriam pagar o que lhe pertencesse.»
