Water and Storm Country follows as that trilogy’s third book, dividing its story between Huck of the seafaring Soakers and Sadie of the Stormers as their communities collide. Estes recommends completing both trilogies before The Earth Dwellers, which unites their casts and closes the combined sequence. The two series develop separately before converging in The Earth Dwellers.
