Elizabeth A Reeves

Elizabeth A Reeves writes fantasy that joins witchcraft, spirit communication, and the hidden life of bees. The Voice of Bees introduces the mythology behind her Bee Witch stories, in which gifted keepers called Voices mediate between the human and spirit worlds. The Memory of Bees continues that thread through Kinley, who believes she may be the last bee-witch after watching the women before her succumb to the cost of their powers. When a bee remains after its apparent task is finished, family secrets begin to expose a larger inheritance and a danger to the veil between worlds. The later novel is identified as the second Bee Witch book and was independently published in 2023. Reeves uses the colony as more than atmosphere: the bees carry messages, obligations, and a history that Kinley cannot simply refuse. This imagery links fantasy suspense to interdependence and inherited responsibility. Her paired titles frame magical ability as both communal guardianship and an intimate family burden.
