Mandy Lee

Mandy Lee is a food writer, recipe developer, and photographer whose cooking grew into the award-winning blog Lady and Pups. The Art of Escapism Cooking gathers more than eighty recipes shaped by her years in New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong, drawing on Asian techniques and wider international influences. HarperCollins published the illustrated cookbook in 2019. Lee treats the kitchen as both a place of exacting craft and a refuge during a difficult period abroad, so personal narrative sits beside instructions for dishes, pantry preparations, sauces, and unfamiliar ingredients.
