About this book
‘Abdu'l-Bahá in London is a book by ʻAbdu'l-Bahá. An address says the gift of God to this enlightened age is the knowledge of the oneness of mankind and of the fundamental oneness of religion. The address says that war shall cease between nations, and by the will of God the Most Great Peace shall come. The address was spoken by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in Persian from the city Temple pulpit.
Under the heading The Life After Death, Mrs. S. asked some questions about the conditions of existence in the next world, and the life after death. The text records ‘Abdu’l-Bahá saying of the first gun of freedom fired into the home of despotism, “That was God’s gun.”
