Dawn of Cobalt Shadows

Emma Hamm’s fantasy book “Dawn of Cobalt Shadows” is an engrossing story. The dragon shifter Sigrid of Wildewyn breaks free from her confinement and goes back to her native country. She leads an army of Beastkin in a newly created animal-ruled realm with long-forgotten laws. She questions faith and fate while searching for her past and the histories of all Beastkin. Magic, loyalty, and free will are all skillfully woven into this interesting story, which is the second novel in the Burning Empire trilogy.
