About this book
Religion and Theology is a sermon for the times by John Tulloch, preached in the parish church of Crathie and in the college church, St Andrews. The sermon says there is much talk in the present time of the difficulties of religion. The sermon adds that it is hard to be truly religious, to be humble, good, pure, and just.
The sermon says religion differs from theology, not only in the comparatively simple and universal order of the facts. The sermon also says that not to be rational in religion as in everything else is simply to be foolish. The sermon says that in this as in other respects you must work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
