About this book
The Unforseen Return is a comedy in one act by Regnard. A character named Mrs. Prim asks whether anything is more scandalous than the expenditures Belinda is constantly making. A character named Richly says he does not wish to delay entering home and giving his son the pleasure of knowing he is safely returned.
Roger asks whether it is his dear master, and Richly answers "Yes, it's me, Roger." Roger says he is "very much at your service like a faithful servant". Squire asks whether there were a couple of other paintings, and Richly says they were originals by a master some think to be Leonardo.
