About this book
Warren Commission (01 of 26), Hearings Vol. I, is headed as an investigation of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Executive Order 11130 created a commission to ascertain, evaluate, and report upon the facts relating to the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy.
A concurrent resolution gave the commission the power to administer oaths and affirmations, examine witnesses, receive evidence, and issue subpenas. Mrs. Oswald is asked how she got to New Orleans from Dallas and replies that Mrs. Paine took her there in her car. Asked whether he took the gun with him to New Orleans, Mrs. Oswald says she does not remember exactly, but that it seems to her it was not among her things. Documents marked as Commission Exhibits Nos. 281 through 292 are received in evidence, with Mr. Dulles saying they may be accepted.
