Fuhrman holds a board certification in family medicine, which separates him from most of the shelf he sits on, and the general case for whole plant foods has broad support. What outruns the evidence are the specific claims about reversing established disease. He sells supplements, foods and a membership programme resting on the same argument, and a reader should put that on the scale alongside the qualification.
