Shamil Thakrar is the co-founder of Dishoom, a group of restaurants that pays homage to the old Irani cafés of Bombay. Born in 1981, he and his cousin Kavi launched Dishoom in 2010. The brand experience at Dishoom is crafted with love, care, and authenticity. Their restaurants, now with five sites in London and one in Edinburgh, have developed a huge cult following for both the quality of their food and the immersive brilliance of their spaces. Dishoom’s unique brand values center around culture and authenticity.
