In Love With the Czarina, and Other Stories is a book by Mór Jókai. The contents list names pieces, among others In Love with the Czarina, Tamerlan the Tartar and Valdivia. The introduction says the Hungarian nation, king and people, have recently been celebrating the jubilee of Hungary's greatest writer, whose pen has given no less than 250 volumes to the world.
The piece headed In Love with the Czarina describes a secret society at St. Petersburg in the time of the Czar Peter III. that bore the title of The Nameless, whose members used to assemble in the house of a Russian nobleman, Jelagin by name. A woman says to Bajazet that she wants him to take her with him when he next starts against the Dzsins.
