About this book
The hearings concern an investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the subsequent violent death of the man charged with the assassination. Mr. Griffin questions Chief Batchelor about awareness that television cameras would focus on the vehicle carrying Oswald and that broadcasting newsmen could identify the car to radio listeners.
Chief Batchelor says he had nothing to do with moving the prisoner, did not make the decision, and does not know whether the decision was wise. Mr. Stevenson's testimony reports a proposal to call men from an outside patrol and place one at each intersection on the route to the county jail.
