About this book
Warren Commission (13 of 26), Hearings Vol. XIII, gathers hearings before the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, set up pursuant to Executive Order 11130. The opening text says the Commission was created to ascertain, evaluate, and report upon the facts relating to the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy and the subsequent violent death of the man charged with the assassination. In testimony, Mr. Sorrels says he does know that Inspector Kelley had instructed him to write up the report.
Mr. Hubert asks whether the witness recalls a conversation with Mr. Burt Griffin concerning what he knew about what Ruby had said in interviews with him. Mr. Jackson says of drivers that they drive in and leave it, and that they pay it when they get back while he puts a ticket on the car. A speaker tells Mr. Montgomery that the nature of the inquiry today is to determine what facts he knows about the death of Oswald.
