Barbara Fairchild built a long food-editing career at Bon Appétit, beginning in 1978 and becoming editor in chief in 2000. Bon Appetit Desserts gathers more than 600 recipes from the magazine's archives, spanning cakes, pies, cookies, puddings, and frozen desserts. Andrews McMeel published the 704-page cookbook in 2010.
