Joanna Sayago Golub

Joanna Sayago Golub was Runner's World's nutrition editor when the magazine turned its recipe files into a book, and her name sits on the result as editor rather than author. The Runner's World Cookbook, issued by Rodale in 2013, gathers 150 dishes drawn largely from the magazine's own pages, grouped by what a runner wants from a meal, and the Olympian Deena Kastor opens it with a foreword. Golub edited a companion volume two years later, Runner's World Meals on the Run, limited to recipes that take half an hour or less, for which the Olympian Kara Goucher did the same. That companion volume is the one that appeared in German, as Das Runner's World Kochbuch für Läufer.
