[9] Algunos de los mejores títulos en inglés sobre la experiencia estadounidense en la guerra de Vietnam son Choosing War y Embers of War, de Fredrik Logevall, A Bright Shining Lie, de Neil Sheehan, The Best and the Brightest, de David Halberstam, Fire in the Lake, de Frances FitzGerald, Vietnam: A History, de Stanley Karnow, y el volumen doble de The Library of America, Reporting Vietnam. He encontrado sobre todo útiles las siguientes obras acerca de los primeros años de la guerra: The Making of a Quagmire, de David Halberstam, The Mission in Torment, de John Mecklin, The Lost Revolution, de Robert Shaplen, Once Upon a Distant War, de William Prochnau, Why Vietnam Matters, de Rufus Phillips, Uphill Battle, de
Frank Scotton, y The Road Not Taken, de Max Boot. <<

A Time to Lead: For Duty, Honor and Country, Nueva York, St. Martin’s Press, 2007, pp. 180-182.
